Get BASIC KNOWLEDGE and skills in hotels
and other tourist accommodations!
As part of the courses "Provision of basic services at tourist accommodations" (Certificate of Professional Development, without qualification) you learn the basic principles of provision of the most important hotel services: front office operations, accommodation operations and food and beverage service. You will be able to start a career in motels, guest houses, spas, campgrounds, hotels and youth hostels.
What is included in curriculum?
During the course you learn:
As part of educational process planned trips to 4 and 5 star hotels located in Riga, to get acquainted with the real work environment, as well as practical training in them (in collaboration with the hotel Radisson Blu - "Latvija", "Elizabete" and " Rīdzene ").
We provide practice
After the theory of the program (durable 4 months) you may apply for an internship (for at least three weeks). The school provides a place for practice and ensures that the practice is "real", not purely academic, because we believe that practice is your key to success in building your career following graduation. During the practice, you will be able to consolidate the academic knowledge acquired in the process of education together with the skills you have learned. You will also establish useful contacts - after their practice more than half of our students receive an immediate job offer. More information about where the practice is available can be found here.
Terms the program is accredited by?
The program is accredited before Feb. 28, 2018 (accreditation number 1394).
The training schedule
Start in 2016 on February 1 and September 5 (the intake twice per year).
For the full program completion (246 academic hours) you need 4 months + 3 weeks of practice (optional). During a week there is 16 academic hours (4 working days). Form of training - full-time.
Is there a dormitory or a hostel provided?
You may stay at a student dormitory (the cost starts from 150 Euro per month).
What teachers will be teaching classes?
The team consists mainly of hospitality professionals - people that have worked in the business and know the ins-and-outs of it. They are leading managers of local and international hotels, as well as experts - representatives of Hospitality Industry associations.
What is the tuition fee?
For EU students: payment for the whole program - 7900 Euro.
For CIS students: payment for the whole program - 1280 Euro.

What can I do after the program completed?
After the program completion you'll be able to build a career in any hospitality enterprise in Latvia or abroad and / or to continue your education and obtain a professional qualification level 3 "Hotel
service specialist", starting your training from 2 semester already!
